Dayspring Family Fellowship is a diverse church, serving a diverse community.
“This is what heaven will be like,” is how one person described the church. Our vision is to reach the lost people of this world for Gods kingdom, one person at a time. We will do this by preaching and teaching the Word of God. We will also do this by partnering with other ministries locally and globally to achieve the Great Commission.
Peter and Michelle Garcia serve as Founding / Lead Pastors at Dayspring Family Fellowship since it was founded in 2014. Peter and Michelle have 4 children and 3 granddaughters. They dedicate their time and love to ministering to the people God puts in their path.
Peter and Michelle share common passions in Marriage and family ministry. As well as seeing the lost come to Christ for salvation, and helping all grow strong in their faith.
What We Believe...
GOD
We believe God exists eternally in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are one God. We believe God created everything out of nothing by His mighty power. We believe that God is all-knowing, all-powerful, and ever-present.
JESUS
We believe Jesus is the Son of God. He is co-equal with God the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He rose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. Jesus ascended to heaven 40 days later and sent the Holy Spirit back here for all believers.
THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit is God and has all of God’s divine characteristics. He lives within all believers from the moment they are saved. The Holy Spirit teaches and counsels us and gives us the power to live like Jesus Christ.
THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible is the unfailing and perfect Word of God. As we study the bible, God reveals His principles for daily living to us. The Word is alive.
SALVATION
We believe that Jesus, provided salvation for all through His death on the cross. To receive salvation, one must repent of their sin, ask for forgiveness and trust in Jesus Christ alone as their Savior.
THE CHURCH
We believe in the power of unity and significance of the Church. The family of believers must meet regularly to worship God and live life together. We believe a church the Lord created is a body of believers who have agreed to love God, love each other, serve God and serve each other in order to reach the lost for God’s Kingdom.
Our Pastors
Lead Pastor Peter Garcia
My name is Peter Garcia, and so thankful to God for choosing me to be the sr. pastor at Dayspring Family Fellowship. I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ in 2003 after an encounter with the Holy Spirit. Almost immediately, I began serving the in a prison ministry, where I learned to reach the lost and found my love for preaching the Word of God. In 2009, I was called to lead in ministry, which eventually led me to become an associate pastor and then the founding pastor of Dayspring.
In 2016, I left the corporate world and dedicated my life to becoming a devoted disciple and servant leader for God’s Kingdom. This is by far the most difficult thing I have ever done, but I love it more than I ever thought I would. I get to witness the grace of God in other people lives and share in their God experiences. For that, I am eternally grateful and humbled.
I believe the church should be a family and a place to call home and grow in your faith. My passion is using God’s Word and the love of Jesus to reach the lost and hurting people. My desire is that every believer develops their own personal relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ. I want to help you too on your journey to heaven.
Pastor Michelle Garcia
My name is Michelle Garcia, and I’m humbled to serve as one of the leaders at Dayspring Family Fellowship. I gave my life to the Lord in 2003 when I felt the presence of God for the first time at a worship service at Lakewood Church in Houston. Since then, I have been on a journey to fulfill my God given calling in ministry.
I love serving in the Women’s Ministry reminding women who God created them to be. The Children’s and Teen’s Ministry is also dear to my heart because I treasure being part of their spiritual formation.
Last, but not least, I enjoy serving with my husband, Pastor Peter Garcia, ministering to married couples. We are passionate about helping couples of all ages discover the key to marital success – Jesus Christ!
I have 26 years of experience as an educator and 10 years as an elementary school principal. Helping and loving people in life is the center of my ministry in any setting! I hope you to have the pleasure of meeting you personally! Jesus Loves you and so do we at Dayspring Family Fellowship Church!
